SECOND-HAND STORIES presents Moisés Yagües’ latest body of work, bringing together his iconic Artist and Monsters, Garden, and Homage to the Masters series alongside the Taiwan premiere of a new group of works created with carefully sourced antique frames.
Collected by the artist from flea markets and antique shops, each vintage frame carries the traces of a previous life. Rather than simply containing the image, these historical objects become active participants in the composition, allowing past and present to coexist within a single work.
Through Yagües’ signature blend of humour and tenderness, forgotten objects are given renewed purpose, inviting viewers to discover how every mark of time can become the beginning of a new story.
